From a buyer's perspective

Buying Largueta: what matters

Largueta sits between Marcona and Comuna in price and is well available in good qualities. Caliber uniformity and low breakage are decisive — especially for dragée applications.

Frequently asked

Good to know.

Largueta is elongated and flat with a more intense flavour; Marcona is round and buttery-mild. Largueta is the roasting and chocolate almond, Marcona the premium snack almond — at a much higher price.

Its even, flat shape coats and panns cleanly, and its intense flavour holds its own against the chocolate.

Harvest runs in September; new-crop lots ship from October. We secure annual volumes through contracts right after harvest.
